Judge to allow forensic testing in cut-from-womb caseBELLEVILLE, Ill. A judge in St. Clair County will allow forensic testing in a case against a Metro East woman accused of killing a woman and her seven-month-old fetus.
Twenty-four-year-old Tiffany Hall appeared in court yesterday.Circuit Judge Milton Wharton cleared the way for paternity and toxicology tests of the fetus.
Last week, the St. Clair County prosecutor said he'll seek the death penalty against Hall in the killings last September of Jimella Tunstall and her fetus.
A trial date hasn't been set.
No charges have been filed in the drowning deaths of Tunstall's three children.
Police say Hall led officers to their bodies, which were in the washer and dryer of the family's apartment.
Hall is jailed in Belleville on five (M) million dollars bond.
